This particular carnival squash (a hybrid of sweet dumpling and acorn squash) was just one of thousands of a whole variety of gleaned winter squashes the team harvested at Riverview Farm last week. Our team of volunteers jumped at the opportunity to glean carrots 🥕 and potatoes 🥔 from @killdeerfarm !! Beautiful fresh root crops are a favorite of our recipients and we’re grateful to the community that provides #healthyfoodforall
